Shirley Ann (Seiler) Bittorf, age 86, handed away peacefully surrounded by her household on Feb. 27, 2026. She was born on Aug. 16, 1939, daughter of Gerald and Ann (Kroll) Seiler in Sturgeon Bay. She married Fred Bittorf June 6, 1959, in Sturgeon Bay and he preceded her in demise on Nov. 6, 2016.
Shirley was a graduate of Sturgeon Bay Excessive Faculty and Door Kewaunee Lecturers Faculty, Algoma. She taught in a one-room college close to Abbotsford, Wisconsin and later labored at JC Penney Division Retailer in Antigo after which was in journey at Antigo Journey Company. After Fred retired, the household moved to Madison the place Shirley continued as a journey agent.
Shirley and Fred later moved to Appleton to be close to household. Over time, they travelled to many areas of america and in addition loved exploring international locations akin to Switzerland, Germany, Australia and Norway. Shirley is survived by her sons Brad and Paul (Sandra) and daughter Barbara (Jay) Carlson, her grandchildren Matthew (Veronica) Plum, Kyle Bittorf, Danny (fiancé Annie) Carlson and Michael Carlson. She is additional survived by a brother Jerry (Joanne) Seiler, sister Janet (Bob) Peddecord, nieces and nephews: Terri, Mike (Beth), Patty (Ishmael), Dennis (Marsha), many nieces and nephews of Door County in addition to brother-in-law Wally (Gloria) Bittorf, sister-in-law Lois Bittorf and different family and pals.
She was preceded in demise by her husband Fred, her mother and father, and brothers and sisters-in-law RJ (Doreen) Bittorf, Berhardt (Lois) Bittorf, Shirley (Earl) Krauel and Donald Bittorf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will happen on Friday March 6, 2026, at 11 am at St Thomas Extra Catholic Church, 1810 N McDonald Avenue, Appleton. Family and friends will collect on the church from 9 am till mass begins. Shirley will be part of her husband at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
