Leslie H. Lautenbach, 81, of Egg Harbor, handed away peacefully on Feb. 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving household. Born on July 5, 1944, in Egg Harbor, Leslie lived a full life rooted deeply in love, exhausting work, and devotion to these closest to him. For 51 fantastic years, Les shared his life together with his beloved spouse, Jeanette. Collectively they constructed a household grounded in love, laughter, and loyalty.
He was preceded in loss of life by his mother and father, Frank Lautenbach and Ethel Paschke; brother Artie (Pat), sister Mary Jane (George). He’s survived by his devoted spouse Jeanette; their sons, Brad (Nancy Moses), and Robbie (Allie); and their daughter, Debbie (Dave); sister Delores (Chan), and brother Wayne (Dianne).
To his household, he’ll without end be remembered as “Papa” ~ a supplier, mentor, and fixed presence whose love by no means wavered.
“Papa” discovered pleasure in life’s quiet but significant moments — working in his woods, splitting firewood, and tinkering with vehicles and tractors till they gleamed with life as soon as extra. His dedication and craftsmanship had been matched solely by his generosity and love of household, values he lived daily and handed alongside to his kids.
Leslie is survived by his beloved spouse, 3 kids, and grandchildren Kaylah, Trevor, Trenton (Bella), Alex, Ashley, Kalissa, Hailee, Delilah, and Harper. Nice grandchildren Avery and Sabrina. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lastly, to papa’s beloved hound canine Scooby and the late Okay-9, Buckie.
Les proudly served his nation as a member of the U.S. Military earlier than returning residence and put his abilities and dedication into constructing not simply homes, however desires for numerous households in his neighborhood.
A longtime member of the St. Joseph’s Church in Sturgeon Bay, Leslie lived his religion quietly however deeply, discovering peace in a service, neighborhood, and the easy fantastic thing about on a regular basis life.
